Hi there
I have had these papers in sight for a while and finally found the time and photos to use them. I have used Cosmo Cricket Odds & Ends papers, Prima Resin Birds, Kaisercraft Rubons, Diamond Dust (on hand rolled flowers) and Coredinations card stock at the background. Another handy tip I have discovered. . . the Thickers were a bit too green so I have softened the colour by dabbing them with Picket Fence Distress Stains - this stuff is magic! It is opaque and so easy to apply, I actually added it to the letters after they were put on the layout! Thanks for visiting!

Kaisercraft - On The Move & Sweet Nothings
Hi friends.
Have been busy creating with the new releases from Kaisercraft. I adore both the new ranges.
First is Sweet Nothings. Such a pretty, soft paper range and of course the new Collectables which are packets of die cuts. So easy to bring a layout together. I am definitely a scrapper who likes to create with a coordinating range so these are perfect! I have also used a little Prima Metal Treasures Bird Cage. I have brushed over it with a little ink to take away some of the stark whiteness. The paper blooms are also Kaiser and the satin ruffled trim is Websters.
This is a layout I have done of my Mum. She is a lady who doesn't really rate herself very highly so I wanted to remind her of just how gorgeous she is to me and my sons.
The next project is using the new On The Move range. A brilliant vintage boy/male range without being too babyish which I adore. I have made a couple of paper rosettes with my Tim Holtz die and the embellies are from the Collectables pack and the sticker sheet. Have also included some black rubons from the Boys set and some zig zag stitching down the side using my WRMK Stitch Piercer.
I have scrapped this photo before but I loved it and thought it was just perfect for these papers!
Thanks for visiting and thanks for looking!

HBS Sketch, Christmas cards and just because!
Have had a bit of a quieter week this week and also had the chance to scrap with my pal Sharon on the weekend so have a few projects to share.
I have just finished off a few Christmas cards which I made using a sticker book which I had to have last year from The Girl's Paperie but hadn't even opened yet!
That's it for today! Thanks for visiting!
I have just finished off a few Christmas cards which I made using a sticker book which I had to have last year from The Girl's Paperie but hadn't even opened yet!
These cards I made using a sheet from the Cosmo Cricket Dear Mr Claus papers. So easy with a sheet of the little Santa's ready to be cut up.
I attempted the sketch in our Gallery this month too using Kaisercraft Madame Boutique papers and the new Colletions pack. Gorgeous! The crocheted flowers were Prima.and here is the sketch.
Finally, this layout I loved doing. I have wanted to play around with some Coredinations for ages and this muddy picture of my youngest was perfect for the black background. I had also had bought some Prima Printery Tiles which I had been wanting to use so I have tucked one of those with a birdie on it in the centre of my embellie cluster. The rest of the page used bits and pieces I had. The fern frond was cut using a Cheery Lynn die.
That's it for today! Thanks for visiting!

Kaiser New Release Projects.
Here are a couple of projects I have completed using the 2 new ranges in store from Kaisercraft and more to follow.
The first is an anniversary card I have made for my in-laws using the Paper Pad from Madam Boutique and the little vintage button is Prima in the Printery release. I love the teal and gold colours in their range, it really suits shabby/vintage styles. The theme throughout the range is vintage/sewing. The ephemera pack includes lots of die cut doilies, tape measures, scissors and seamstress themed shapes.
I have cut out a doily shape using one of my favourite Cheery Lynn Doily Dies – English Tea Party. The corners are punched using the Vintage Floral Martha Stewart Punch and delicate yellow trim is Webster’s.
The second project is a layout using the new Cock-a-doodle-doo release.
Whilst the main theme of the range is farm there are lots of cloud & tree shapes which would suit all kinds of outdoor themes. I have used the die cut Paddock and cut a circle out of Baa!. I have used a combination of the Stickers and Collectables in my embellishment clusters plus some of the rubons on the top right and bottom right edges. The Alphas are also from the collection and of course the cute Dimensional Chipboard cow. I have addedGlossy Accents to the clouds and some rain drops.

Candles - Pink Paislee Soiree
Hi there, here is another collection of papers I have been wanting to use for ages but just didn't quite know when or how. I love the feminine bright colours and the glittered embellies were too easy to use!
Have used Pink Paislee Soiree papers and embellies and some sanded Coredinations Weathered Tin card in the centre of the layout.
It was my youngest's 4th Birthday today so hubby and I were up late making a Pirate Ship cake so have included a pic of this too - well done husband for a fantastic cake making effort once again!

My Boy - My Mind's Eye Lime Twist - Out of the Blue
Back again, things are a little quiet today so I had some time for another layout. This time I couldn't resist the adorable papers and embellies from Lime Twist - Out of the Blue. I have added Glossy Accents to the Balloon and Train die cuts. TFL

Change of Career - Cosmo Cricket Upcycle
I have been eyeing off these papers for a while now but felt a bit challenged by bright colours particularly girly colours. So decided to tackle them over the weekend and here is the result.
This a photo taken of me when I was in labour with our 1st son - early stages of course since I was smiling and of course I had an epidural in! If only I knew just how much of a career change having a baby would be! TFL !

Scrappy Weekend
Have been very productive this weekend. Had a scrapping day at my house with some of my gal pals and scrapped up a storm (for me!). Spent the time playing with techniques and papers which I have been eyeing off - so nice to have some me time! TFL

Still fiddling with scraps . . .
I have the Kaiser Hunt & Gather paper pad so I have made a little card using a layering style I saw whilst blog surfing last night. The doily is the Cheery Lynn French Pastry die. I have some gal pal coming over for a scrappy day tomorrow whilst hubby has taken the little lads away for a trip to the farm - Bliss! TFL

Miss Nelly Card
A little card I have made playing around with the Miss Nelly Paper Pad. I will admit to recently 'discovering' the wonders of paper pads. The patterns are scaled down for card making and small projects. I am especially a fan of the Kaiser pads because they come with die cut sheets at the back of borders and tags, plus they include a number of specialty papers which are not in the 12x12 range with glossy and foil accents.
Also on this card I have used a Melissa Francis resin embellishment and a Prima flower (this is a packet I pinched for myself and had yet to open because I was hoarding!) plus some Liquid Pearls in the fussy cut flower centres. TFL!

Card - Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden
Here is a card using the Butterfly Garden paper pad and embellies from Pink Paislee. I have used a few different elements here - Cheery Lynn Doily Die, Ranger Crackle Accents, Liquid Pearls Platinum and Impasto Medium (Texture Paste) with a Crafter's Workshop 6x6" template.
This was the first time I have ever used texture paste so I wasn't really sure what to expect. You can see in the bottom right hand corner a little square of pink paper which I have used the Crafter's Workshop template and texture medium to create the decorative corner/texture. Another surprise was that is dries semi translucent which I was really pleased with. TFL.

Some projects to share.
Been so very busy of late that I haven't had much crafting time. My mum asked me to make a series of canvases for her so below is the 1st of the series plus card I made using some Webster's scraps and my Sew Easy Stitch Piercer. I am also working on a mini album for my mum too so that is filling any minute crafting time I get. TFL

Another little card project.
Here is a little card I have made using some favourite products of mine at the moment. The paper is from Kaisercraft Hunt & Gather paper pad. I have punched out retro flower shapes in Tim Holtz Glassine paper and then scrunched up then layered together. I then cut out a rolled rose using my Sizzix 3D Rose die to go in the centre of the flower. I have mounted one of the ephemera shapes from Hunt & Gather then mounted on chipboard and covered it in Rock Candy to create the aged cracked effect. A bit of hemp twine tucked behind and a small strip of Tim Holtz film strip to finish it off. TFL

Doily Card
Okay, this is not the most inspired card you have ever seen but I wanted to play with the new Cheery Lynn Doily Dies so I whipped up a quick card to see how they looked. This on is English Tea Party - I LOVE it! So much nicer than a paper doily! The patterned paper is one of the sheets in the Kaiser Miss Nelly Paper Pad and the ribbon is seam binding. TFL and hope I have inspired you to take a look at the Doily Dies. The details on these dies are AMAZING.

Just a little card . . .
I have been playing around with different styles lately and this is my latest. I have been inspired by this lady's blog
www.papergirlcrafts.blogspot.com
She creates the most divinely feminine white on white projects and her clustering/layering is just awesome!
I have used Martha Stewarts Vintage Floral punches, Liquid Pearls, Seam Binding Ribbon, Webster's stickers & flower centre. The paper flower I have dressed up using Glimmer Glam with some Diamond Dust sprinkled on the edges. TFL!

Rocket Age Cards
Here are a couple of cards I have just made using the left over stickers and paper from October Afternoon's Rocket Age. The birthday sentiments are SRM Stickers - such a great way to finish a card when you are in a hurry and don't want to drag out your stamps! TFL

Fancy some Fancy Pants?
Here is a layout I have done using Fancy Pants Baby Mine. The colours in this range a perfect for both girls and boys. I have used a few products too. The wings are Kaisercraft and I have painted them with Gesso then spritzed them with Goosebumps to give them a glossy textured look. I have cut around the animals at the bottom of the page and to give them a bit of a lift I have painted them with some Glimmer Glaze which gives shimmer and dimension. The flowers are using the Sizzix Roses die and I have spritzed those with some Goosebumps too. The die cut tags and alphas are from the same Baby Mine range. Finally the stickers are from SRM. I have mounted 1 on acetate so I can give it some 3D - these are a great alternative to rubons as they have a clear background. TFL

Weekend away scrapping in Dalwallinu.
Hi there, went a way to Dalwallinu for the weekend with a gal pal and just scrapped. Was so wonderful to just indulge myself scrapping just for me! There were a number of ranges which I had seen come into the shop and go out and just never got the chance to play with so I gathered them up and took them away for a bit of fun. A couple of them are lifts from layouts I have seen and loved. TFL.

Yep - Another layout ! HBS Sketch Challenge
I know! You would think things were quiet in the shop - they are not!!!! Don't know what is going on just seem to be motivated to get many things done at the moment. Just thought I would sneak in an offering for this month's Sketch Challenge at HBS.
Using Jillibean Soup Dutch Mustard papers, Serenade Thickers, Sizzix Rosette Die (to make the Rosette).
The banners were cut out using Spellbinders Pennants Die (my favourite!) and linked together with Hemp String. TFL! You can pick yourself up of the floor now!
