Hi there, I have just finished this canvas for my friend's daughter who turned 6 last week. I painted Glimmer Mist on the edges of the canvas and the Kaisercraft wooden dress form. The papers are My Mind's Eye Tickled Pink and the banners I cut out from the new Spellbinder's Pennants Die. TFL!

Glimmer Mist, Canvas & Acetate Idea
Hi there, was just doing some blog surfing and came across a great tutorial posted by Nicole Pomeroy making flowers using Glimmer Mist & Acetate. I thought I would have a play and this is what I came up with. I misted both acetate and canvas petals cutout with my Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die and then heated the acetate to curl it a bit. I found that if I heated the petals individually the bent them with some tweezers I got a better result. I then layered up the petals and held them together with a brad and then decided to spritz it again with Glimmer Mist.
Hope you find this idea useful! If you give it a go let us see what you come up with!

Things I Love
This is a submission for a call at Scrapbooking Memories. Favourite Things.
So I decided to branch out and do some more photography of things other than the human/dog kind! Saw this layout in the Page Maps 2 book in a digital version. Using Basic Grey Pyrus papers, Glimmer mist (background, handmade flower & chipboard frame/alphas) Coffee Shop.
After the frustration of my previous project I really enjoyed putting this layout together and in fact took the photos after the layout was finished. Another first! TFL

No More Photos
This is my almost 5 year old son at his first school disco in December last year. Not the most cooperative lad - no photos and no dancing! Too cute - when he gets older the girls will love that moody shyness! Guffaw!
